I originally planned the epilogue early on. I considered having it take place at the high school reunion of the main characters, but I realized that the only seniors in the story are Brooke, Katherine, and myself. I finally settled on the premiere of the Spaceballs remake I hinted at in the character profiles. Either way, I knew at the very end, I wanted Megan, then Megan Bates, to turn into Mother.
