I came up with the end of the story sometime between finishing section 8 and starting section 9. I thought it would be funny to put an unusual twist on the idea of the main character waking up to find that the whole story was just a dream.

A Summer Story, or, The Lewis Story, Part 1: "Anachronisms"
Sure, the story is ridiculous to begin with. One way I added to the insanity is to use anachronisms. I started writing the story in the summer of 2005, just before starting 8th grade. Some of the people I added as characters are people I hadn’t met or heard of until high school. Situations or music I used in the story wouldn’t have happened until well after the story takes place, in the summer of 2006.
